Chicago born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan, I Graduated from Western Michigan University in April of 1988, where I earned a BA in Broadcast Communications with double Minors in Journalism and English. I spent the next six years working in Chicago radio and cable television before landing a job back in Detroit as an original member of Detroit's first sports talk station WDFN. I was hired by Fox 2 in 1997 and have spent the last 23 years of my career covering Red Wings Stanley Cup Championships, multiple Final Fours, NBA Championships, the NFL and two Tigers World Series. My passions include, golf, boating, spending time with my kids and fundraising.

Trevor Thompson - Executive Support Director
Trevor is a native of Dresden Ontario, roughly 60 miles from heart of the motor city on the Canadian side of the border. He grew up playing every Sport imaginable and eventually pursue his dream of becoming Hey sports caster after working in the social services and financial planning industries.
The pursuit of that dream landed Trevor jobs in Toronto and Vancouver at TSN, hockey night in Canada and Rogers SportsNet, prior to moving to Detroit to work at Fox Sports Detroit in May of 2000.
Trevor is a four time Emmy Award winner for his work with Fox and is also a former Ty Tyson Award winner and Past-President of the Detroit Sports Media Association, where his passion and commitment have him heavily involved. Trevor and his wife, Dayna Clark, of WJR Radio, currently reside in Farmington Hills.
John Topping - Financial Advisor
Started my young career as a chef and bartender in Seattle, Denver & phoenix, moved into the Aviation Industry and worked for Sky Harbor Aviation for a number of years before moving to Michigan and starting my own aviation commercial aircraft company, Aero Concepts, ran this business for eight years. After the downfall in the economy, went to work for Schwan’s foods, managed a depot for six years, moved into transportation and worked for Golden Int’l, transitioned back to the hospitality and currently work for Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest as their Business Transient Sales Manager & Proudly serve as the Treasurer of the DSMA.
After attending Adrian College and Wayne State University he owned Michigan Limousine, with a background in Business, Advertising and Marketing he joined BBDO Detroit (Worldwide) to work on the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge Advertising. As the owner of Leadfoot Consulting, his team consults and executes marketing plans for businesses of all sizes. Personally he enjoys time with his wife & 3 cats, working on his Corvettes, playing Golf and his multiple charitable efforts.
Eddie Jones - Director of Information Technology
With backgrounds in project management and small business development strategies, he joined the MSX International team and held the Dodge Brand manager position that supported Dodge brand events like the NHL Breakout, major auto shows, and targeted market ride and drives. As the owner of Webcentric Communications, Eddie now uses his talents to help small businesses grow through website site development and client interaction. Bowling, camping and family time are his go to for downtime.
After four years in radio both producing and hosting a show in Grand Rapids, Roger Castillo co-founded Sports Radio Detroit.com, a podcasting and writing site in 2011. He has assisted several shows on how to edit, record and produce their own podcasts. Most recently, he co-founded TigersMinorLeagueReport.com, a site dedicated to covering the Detroit Tigers minor league system. He co-hosts "Tigers SRD", a weekly Detroit Tigers podcast. A graduate of Specs Howard of Media Arts in 2007 and a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2011, Roger also works full time as a Direct Marketing Manager in the banking industry. In his free time, Roger likes to spend time with his family, going to the ballpark, tinkering with cars, playing trivia and reading.
