The Detroit Sports Media Association is a group of more than 150 professionals who work in the field of sports marketing, journalism and broadcasting and all facets of local media. Our mission is to raise money for scholarships for students, both in and entering college Our Goal in 2023 is to raise $50,000 dollars through various fundraising events with an emphasis on bringing members and guests together to network, donate and have a good time.We kicked off the first quarter with our first annual "FOWLING FOR SCHOLARS" event at the Fowling Warehouse in Hamtramck! Our largest fundraiser of the year with being our annual golf scramble to be held on Monday, July 10th at Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township. We are now accepting 250-word essays from all students who are interested in being considered for a DSMA Grant.
